Special event in Leicester Renoir and Impressionism 7 June 2024 14:00 - 15:00 £10.00 Art Society members £8 One of the world’s most famous artworks, Pierre- Auguste Renoir's The Umbrellas, is coming to Leicester as part of The National Gallery's 200th birthday celebrations. This one-hour talk gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about this iconic artwork in the context of the 19th-century Impressionist art movement. Advanced booking recommended The exhibition runs from May 10th to 1st September. There is also a National Gallery curators talk on the evening of 27 June.
